Center for Resolutions has completed the summer training course for Basic Mediation Training!
The Basic Mediation Course offered through Center for Resolutions is 24 hours, held over the course of 3 days, and offers participants CLE’s or CEU credits if needed for their profession. Participants come from an array of professional backgrounds: attorneys, social workers, educators, HR administrators, clergy members and law enforcement. Building upon skills they already possess, attendees learn the ins and outs of mediation, including how to manage conflict, mediation styles, active listening, ethics, and much more! This training is interactive involving role plays and other teaching styles.
The Basic Mediation Style is catered not only to professionals, but to any individuals that would like to learn mediation skills. Conflict can arise between friends, family, coworkers, and acquaintances that the foundation and skills presented in this class can allow an individual to effectively resolve a personal conflict without allowing it to escalate.
