Problem Solving and Decision Making (PSDM) is an interactive class for youth ages 10-18. PSDM is designed to help youth recognize that every situation has options and to empower them to make informed decisions. Using the acronym “ICED”, students learn to Identify the problem, Create alternatives, Evaluate the alternatives and then Decide which alternative is best.

The class is for youth only. Students are encouraged to test their decision-making skills on past, present, and future situations that affect their peer group. They will learn to identify and use their own values in decision-making and to seek help when the situation warrants it. Trainers provide additional information related to options for exit plans to remove the youth from dangerous or uncomfortable situations. As well as sharing information on current laws regarding underage drinking.

All information shared by the students during training is requested to be kept confidential.

You will receive a confirmation by email within 2 business days.
