Center for Resolutions

Welcome to the home page for the Center for Resolutions (CFR). This site under continued development as of October 2009 and is definitely under construction.

We started out as an independent organization with an official name of "Community Dispute Settlement Program of Delaware County, Inc." in 1981. Since then our mission has expanded from providing dispute settlement within the communities (mostly between neighbors) of Delaware County. We have the Youth Aid Panels, mediation training, conflict resolution training and implementation programs for schools, and are continually expanding our services in similar areas. That does not mean that the mediation services our volunteers provide to the community are less valuable or important, just that we have much more to offer. The new name represents that.
